About Me

THE DIGG MINISTRIES

Demetrius Colbert

My Spiritual Journey

From Church Tradition to Deep Connection. For decades, I followed a traditional Christian path. Yet, despite my faith, I longed for a deeper, more personal understanding of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. I wanted to move beyond church-focused life and truly live out my faith each day.

While I'm grateful for my upbringing, I realized it focused on activities and doctrine rather than a transformative relationship with God. After planting two churches, I discovered my true calling wasn't as a pastor, but as a teacher of deeper biblical truths.

Bridging Faith and Reason

I believe God gave us both faith and intellect. Many struggle with real-world questions about Christianity – both believers and those searching for truth. Church settings often don't address these doubts, relying on clichés that hold little meaning for those outside the system.

My mission is to provide thoughtful answers, exploring:

  • Apologetics: Defending the faith against skeptics

  • Soteriology The meaning of salvation and what Jesus accomplished

  • Biblical Worldview: Applying God's perspective to life's complexities

  • Christian Values: Living them out authentically

A Community for Seekers and Learners

I'm committed to building a community for those who desire deeper knowledge alongside spiritual experience. It's a place for those, like the Bereans in the Bible, seeking to ground their faith in solid understanding. This journey means being open to growth and continuous learning.

My Guiding Verses

"Always be prepared to answer everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect." – 1 Peter 3:15

"May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world." – Galatians 6:14

Let's Walk Together

If you resonate with this, I invite you to join me. Let's delve into the rich truths of our faith, equip ourselves with answers, and live boldly for Christ in our world.
